  Talk about desperation...and splitting hairs!

  why even if the aux pio last day falls on the evening of the co visit...can still attend the meeting with all the other pioneers.

  How many i wonder lost their 'privlege' of being a regular pioneer and MS etc for falling short on their hours, only to find that even the next month a letter could come along reducing the pioneer hours below what they were getting in the first place.

  truly remarkable how jehovah keeps shifting boundaries on his people.

  QR codes: a way to stop APOSTATES !!!

  interesting meeting today.the do had the last talk and he mentioned a couple of things i have not heard before :.

  1) the new lighter magazines are designed in a way to attract people to our website .

  2)the ministry will change to incoprorate preacing in town centres and and with stands as in manhattan and certain brothers will be allocated to do this .so it is done now in a big scale ,organised.. 3)the qr codes at the back of the magazines are there for smart phone users to guide them directly to jw.org ,unlike bad old internet via laptops and pc's that you have to look for the website on google and sometimes end up in enemy websites that look like our website but are spreading lies about jw's (he said exactly that!

  in my case it was my best freind in the cong who decided to encourage me to answer up at the wt by... refusing to talk to me afterwards if i hadn't answered up!

  An Elder and a Wanna be elder m/s came round to 'shepherd' the wife and I. I wasn't doing much in the way of preaching and reaching out, wasn't inactive but i guessed they figured i could be doing more, so the M/S called me...

  AN IDIOT

  No shit!

  He figured i was an idiot coz i had an attractive wife, no kids and wasn't making moves to survive the big A. He figured that if didn't care enough to keep the great life I had, forever, i must be an idiot.

  so they met 16 years ago at a JW convention...

  a lot can happen in 16 years, including being out of the JWs for 16 years. I wouldn't be spreading the story as active or even long standing Jws myself. clearly a lot of non jw related beliefs in them as well.

  What is your daily commute, and how long does it take you

  mine is 25 miles each way.

  it can take anywhere from a half hour to an hour and a half each way depending on traffic.

  there is no way way to get here by public transportation.. sigh~ .

  20 metres and it takes a whole half a minute to shuffle it.

  Its tough because sometimes i have to go between work and home more than 6 or 7 times a day. Sure takes a whack out of productivity.

  I like a statement and than a fact in this sort of stuff. Ok, they said they would get the secret database of child molesters...Where is it?

  lots to say about the corruption, ok, dont talk about it, dump it all over the internet.

  You are allegedly all powerful and scary, do it then, not say it.

  Very good read

  I do find one criticism though, i hope you don't mind me saying. The below quote from the article:

  Despite stern warn­ings, web forums, such as jehovahs-witness.net, have pro­vided a safe haven for active Jehovah’s Wit­nesses to exchange in free com­mu­ni­ca­tion with each other, and even ex-members

  I feel as an ex jw, and a member for 3 years that the above is a tad misleading.

  While JWN did begin as pro jw it very quickly became a haven for many many ex JWs and unhappy JWs. The quote makes it sound like it is more inhabited by basically loyal JWs with ''even'' ex members joining in. That clearly is not the case, more in fact, the reverse: JWN is more inhabited by ex jws and faders and ''even'' a few loyal JWs, the latter more often than not getting called trolls. I would not find JWN a safe haven if i was an active loyal Jehovah's Witness looking to discuss my faith.
